Welcome to Native Pony Association Cornwall
New Year, New Start, New NPAC!
January 2016 saw an EGM called by the previous NPAC committee. In order to try and save the Native Pony Association of Cornwall, a number of people very kindly agreed to step forward and form a brand new committee to try and save our association, that, in 2016 will be 41 years old! Older than some of our new committee members!
The new committee consists of Stephen Trevenna - Chairman, Maxine Ingham – Secretary, Gemma Trevenna – Show Secretary, Bex Vinnicombe – Editor, Marketing and Publicity, Clare Kent – Treasurer, Penny O’Keeffe – Membership Secretary.
We have lots of plans to take NPAC forward and make it the successful association it once was. The committee have lots of events and fundraisers planned for 2016 and beyond, including £100 Champion of Champions and £50 Young Handlers. Please could we ask that you do your best to support our events, bring your friends along and most importantly, join NPAC! At £10 per family at the same address it is great value for money.
We really have been overwhelmed by the support we have received since becoming committee members, and we have also been made aware that there are a number of people who have quietly supported NPAC from behind the scenes whilst taking no credit publicly, and have done for a number of years. We’d like to say a heartfelt Thank You to those people, you know who you are! You are very much appreciated by us all.
We look forward to welcoming old and new members to our 2016 events, our aim this year is to give the association a solid financial footing on which to move forward, hold enjoyable shows and events for all and to make this association the great one it once was with an open, friendly and transparent calendar for the whole family to enjoy. Please be assured, we will do our very best for NPAC and its membership.
