Mollie Trethewey from St. Mabyn was the winner of the NPA Peformance Points Award for the second year running with the brilliant Welsh Section C pony Kilrush Happy Hurricane Harvey . Those in receipt of our last Autumn's News letter will have read an account of the pair's successes at many disciplines, and these this year accounted for an amazing 1437 points, nearly a hundred up on last year! They also took the awards for jumping, gymkhana, and the Junior award. Harvey is owned by Val and Tony Croft from Helston. Mollie also won overall fifth place, and the Dressage award with Rotherwood Toy Parade .
Second place went to Celeste Gall, with Dunedin Monarch , who were also our 2007 Champion of Champions, she also took the WHP award.
Third place and Senior went to Francis Webster, with her Dales pony Jesta . Proof that showing is not necessary to mount up those necessary points, as this pair take part in various rides and endurance activities to accrue their points.
Becky Henley and Zoe Ainsworth share the fourth position, also for various activities as well as showing, on Penny Green's Brock Katrina. Katrina also took the New Forest points award. Fenrose Aine , also owned by Penny Green took the Connemara award, ridden by Becky Henley and later Carly Mather.
Teresa Chapman's Part-bred Welsh Misty's Morning Star took the sixth place, ably piloted by Emma James.
Sarah Julian (nee McCormack) won the Fell award on Barbara Hall's Rosmarth Raindrop.
